The Adukrom Circuit of the Methodist Church Ghana, led by the Superintendent Minister, Very Rev. Abraham Osei Donkor, has donated desks, chairs as well as other Teaching and Learning materials to the Special Needs pupils in the Methodist Basic School at Adukrom in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Interestingly, it is the only Methodist School in the Eastern Region with Special needs Children.
Very Rev Abraham Osei Donkor revealed that during last year March, the Presiding Bishop of the Church, Most Rev Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo, visited and promised to assist the school.
Touched by the performance put up by the children, he made a donation of Ghc 10,000 in support of the needs of the children in the school.
Very Rev. Abraham Osei Donkor explained consequently that their classroom has been refurbished.
‘Some furniture and other materials to enhance their skill training have been provided’ Very Rev Donkor added.
To this end, Very Rev Abraham Osei Donkor expressed their appreciation to the leadership of the Church at the Connexional level for their support.
‘We are grateful to the Church for the gesture’ he added.
