The District Chief Executive for Banda, Hon. Mary Konneh has advised beneficiaries of Community Police Protection to save to further their education.
She made the admonition when she donated working shirts to thirty five Community Police Protection personnel in the Banda District.
Donating the items, Hon. Mary Konneh advised the Community Police Protection (CPP) beneficiaries to respect their seniors at work so they can work together as a team.
Hon Mary Konneh the DCE further advised them to make good use of their monthly allowance so that after the expiration of their contract they can continue their education to the Tertiary Institution.
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Director in the Banda District, Mr. Densu Kwadwo Sampson also advised the Community Police Protection beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunity offered them.
He advised them to show respect to the police and work hard for the betterment of the district as well as think of their personal development.
Again, he called on the female beneficiaries to strive for excellence and not be too comfortable with the present opportunity.
To this end, reminded them that ‘ Ladies, this is a contract hence do well to save and better your education for a successful life’.
