Nana Adjei Boateng, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the New Juaben North, has embarked on development projects in the area to enhance the living standards of the people.
He told the TNP News that the Constituency’s vision is to develop its human resource base through the provision of quality education and health Services to promote the well-being of the people and to create jobs.
In an exclusive interview with the TNP NEWS, he mentioned some of the projects as the construction of a community clinic at Jumapo, fully furnished labour ward at Akwadum, Effiduase Youth Resource Centre, Suhyen –Mpaem Chips compound, rehabilitation of Asokore library among others.
Nana Adjei Boateng promised to continue to work to improve the well-being of the people in the area.
‘We shall continue to improve the human resource capacity through the provision of educational and health infrastructure and the accompanying facilities’ Mr. Boateng pointed out.
He explained that from 2021 – 2024, he shall work to attract investments with a view to providing job opportunities for the youth in the Constituency.
He added that ‘’ We shall work to provide playing fields to assist in the development of talents in the youth and also for recreation’’.
To this end, Nana Adjei Boateng assured that together with his team of competent Constituency executives will continue to provide and improve on the overall infrastructural development in the constituency.
Touching on agriculture and rural development, Nana Adjei Boateng indicated that 200 farmers in the constituency had been assisted to get access to hybrid maize seeds to improve their yields.
According to him, so far a total of 43,000 seedlings had been distributed to farmers in the constituency.
‘’We have provided 847 farmers with seed subsidies and I look forward to add more to benefit all farmers in the Constituency’’ Nana Adjei Boateng added.
