Napo Ranked Number One Minister

The Minister of Education, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has been adjudged the best minister for the year 2019 by Multi Media’s Asempa FM.
The minister’s dexterity in handling the nation’s education sector has succeeded in addressing majority of problems associated with the government’s flagship program, Free Senior High School (Free SHS) education.
Dr. Prempeh passed in all the five benchmarks the station considered in the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration with distinction.
The five benchmarks were sector ministry and its mandate, ministry deliverables, visibility and branding, accessibility and balance between government and party.
Asempa FM also named some ministers as fallen short of the benchmarks and therefore not working as expected.
Dr. Prempeh, a Medical Doctor by profession, warmed his way to hearts of many Ghanaians when it took him very short to be abreast with issues bothering on the educational sector.
As the lead person for the implementation of the Free SHS, the minister has always been frank in his dealings, accepting when there are shortcomings.
Dr. Prempeh has always remained focused and never distracted by petty politicking on the Free SHS.
He has strong human relations and operates an open-door policy that enables people to access information from the Ministry of Education without sweat.
As the Member of Parliament for the Manhyia South Constituency, he has established strong bond with the constituent and Always with.
It, therefore, did not come as a surprise when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the area decided nobody should challenge Dr. Prempeh going into the 2020 Parliamentary election which will be preceded with primaries to search for candidates.
Napo as Dr. Prempeh is popular called, has given a good account of himself as Minister and Member of Parliament.
