‘IGNORE FALSE STATEMENTS ATTRIBUTED TO ME’- George Opare Addo

162views
I have come across some flyers with commentaries allegedly made by me at our just ended Youth Retreat in the Eastern Region. The commentaries attributed to me are unfounded and quite frankly ridiculous. This is the 12th region we have toured; engaged youth organizers and our message has been the same; encouraging our constituency executives to ensure competent branch executives are elected and not their favorites who can’t get the job done and operationalizing #DoorDie2024.
How someone will disingenuously create false statements attributed to me in the hope of causing disaffection for me beats all possible understanding. I urge the good people of our party to ignore this failed and unintelligent propaganda. I remain resolute on executing my mandate and none of these backward moves will disrupt my focus.
I encourage my opponents to campaign on records and not simpleton propaganda. I am good for a clean contest; campaign and convince delegates on your records not these pedestrian tactics.
Our party is on the precipice of making a comeback into government, this sort of negative energy aimed at our internal elections is not the right call. I have always been committed to a clean campaign because I believe the party must come first not parochial interests.
Thank you.
George Opare Addo,
National Youth Organizer.
