GIZELLA TETTEH AGBOTUI WINS NDC AWUTU SENYA WEST PRIMARIES……CALLS FOR UNITY

Astute Consulting Architect with over 21 years’ experience in the Construction sector; an International Airport Professional (IAP), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mrs Gizella A.Tetteh-Agbotui, has won the Awutu Senya West Constituency primaries to represent the party to recapture the seat from George Andah, the NPP MP for the area.

Astute Consulting Architect with over 21 years’ experience in the Construction sector; an International Airport Professional (IAP), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mrs Gizella A.Tetteh-Agbotui, has won the Awutu Senya West Constituency primaries to represent the party to recapture the seat from George Andah, the NPP MP for the area.

Mrs Gizella A. Tetteh-Agbotui won with 774 Votes representing 73% of the total valid Vote Cast to beat her contenders with Gabriel Quaye obtaining 190 votes, Georgina Armah-Dadson pulling 70 votes and Joseph Tetteh with 27 votes.

The total votes cast was 1064 with total valid votes of 1061 and 3 rejected ballots.

WHO IS Gizella Tetteh Agbotui

Mrs. Gizella A. Tetteh – Agbotui, is a Consulting Architect with over 21 years’ experience in the Construction sector; an International Airport Professional (IAP), a  certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds a Master in Business Administration [MBA] from the University of Ghana Business School, Accra, Ghana awarded in 2007.

Her core profession is Architecture, where she is an Associate member of the Ghana Institute of Architects and Architects Registration Council qualifying for her professional license in 1999. Prior to that, she earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture (PG Dip Arch) and a Bsc Design [2nd class upper division] from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology [KNUST]-Kumasi, Ghana between 1990 and 1997. She is an alumnus of Wesley Girls High School, Cape Coast.

LOCAL POLITICS

She explained that, she has been voting at the Obrachire polling station since the year 2000 in Awutu -Senya West Constituency of Central region and, has worked closely with the people as an Assembly Member and Chairman, Works Sub-committee, Awutu Senya West District Assembly  from 2015-2017 thus understand their plights better.

Speaking to the media after the elections, Mrs Gizella A. Tetteh-Agbotui affirmed her commitment to the cause of the party and his readiness to contribute her quota to its growth at the constituency, regional and national level.

PARTY UNITY

Mrs Gizella A. Tetteh-Agbotui explained to tnpnewsonline.com that there is no way for any political party in the country to defeat NDC if there is unity in the party adding that no party can win election with divisions among them.

‘We need to work closely together as one people from the same political party in order to retain power come 2016 elections’ Mrs Gizella A. Tetteh-Agbotui advised.

To this end, Mrs Gizella A. Tetteh-Agbotui urged her comrades not to sit on the fence, but to put their shoulders to the wheel to speed up the party’s development and progress by helping the party to succeed come 2020 elections.

‘Please let’s bury our differences so that with a united front we can develop the NDC, win power come 2020 elections and recapture our seat’ She appealed.

Mrs Gizella A. Tetteh-Agbotui is seen by constituency and branch executives, supporters, sympathizers and activists as a team-player and a unifier who respects divergent views, hates factionalism, selfless, hardworking and above all humble.
