Hawkers at Fiesta Royal Hotel in Accra this morning escaped death when a Yutong Bus loaded with goods veered off the road into the hotel yard.
There were five passengers onboard the bus from Nigeria to Ghana when the accident occurred.
Speaking to the driver, he told tnpnewsonline.com that he noticed that his brake wasn’t working just 200 metres away from the hotel.
According to him, to avoid killing innocent workers on the street decided to enter the hotel yard when he saw that there was an open chance for him to do so.
He said he was going to Avenor in Accra to offload the goods.
No casualty recorded.
Some of the hawkers our report spoke to praised the driver for thinking about them.
As at the time of filling this report, the police has taken over the case.
Stay cool for more…..
